I have recently been through an experience where my little sister tried to kill herself on her 16th Birthday due to depression. Thankfully she was unsuccessful. She was officially diagnosed 2 years ago but has struggled with it since he was a young child. I take her in every Summer to assist her with her with any instabilities in her life and try to help her manage it just a little bit better than before.
