I lost someone to suicide I was directly helping while I was in a leadership roll at an organization. The trauma surrounding the situation has been something I deal with everyday and most nights. I experience nightmares and night terrors. I was also in the US Navy and served a critical role during an engagement where several civilians, including children were at risk of death.
