Martha Winslow Crop has a question. Can you help?
Our dear member, Martha Winslow Crop, has asked a question about a dementia patient and surgery recovery. Can you help her?“My loved one has dementia. She had surgery to repair a broken “part.” She has pain and is confused and forgotten she just had surgery. My loved one needs to move about, start rehabilitation and walking again in order to heal faster.” How can Martha get her loved one to want to move around while in pain and doesn’t remember why?If any of you have gone through this, Martha would like ideas of what has worked for you and what hasn’t. “My loved one forgets what I told her in five minutes. I could use help in this situation.”
