Cindy and Christina founded AECorner in 2015 because they were seeing too many seniors struggling every day to care for themselves. Most of their clients had the same goal to remain as independent as possible in their homes. 

Many times, seniors’ goals can be achieved by simply having the right tools. As most therapists are aware, there are catalogs full of adaptive equipment available to assist their clients with just about any need. However, many seniors, including their caregivers, are not aware of how to use the equipment safely. 

Cindy and Christina started making YouTube Videos themselves to help seniors safely age in place. Although they are professionals, their dedication as caregivers inspired them to make these videos to help as many caregivers and seniors as possible.

Their mission is to help individuals gain and maintain their highest level of functional independence through information, education, and resources as it relates to adaptive equipment, safety, and caregiver training.
