Helping Paws helps vets by saving pets
We want to give a shout out to Helping Paws San Diego. Caregiving takes many forms and this organization is special.San Diego is home to 143,000 active duty service members and an estimated 240,000 veterans. Many battle to make it financially and those numbers are expected to grow. Over 85,000 are junior enlisted (those in the lower six pay grades). Many are married with children with little or no discretionary income.Young military families in the lower ranks, veteran families, those afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress, TBI, and veterans continue to battle to survive financially.Many military families face extreme hardships in providing veterinary medical care for their pets. Helping Paws provides financial assistance for these fine men and women.
